Application Privacy Notice (Smart อสม.) Mar 24, 2022

This application was developed by Department of Health Service Support, the Ministry of Public Health for Thai Village Health Volunteers (Aorsormor) to associate the healthcare staff, such as that of Health Promoting Hospitals across the country, and Aorsormor. The volunteers can collect health data (such as count of elderly, bedridden patient, etc.) from people in their area, and the data were automatic synced to primary care units. Then, the primary care personnel will be able to use the data for people health prevention and health promotion. Also, the users can record other health data for people under their care, including covid-19 antigen test kit result. However, THIS IS NOT A CONTACT TRACKING APP.

All of data will be analyzed and used for public health promotion plans by the Department of Health Service Support, the Ministry of Public Health.

Collected data.

• Personal data

1. First, the citizen ID is especially important for this application to identify the users. The citizen ID will be used for registration and login, also it was used to verify the users who are Thai Village Health Volunteers (Aorsormor).
2. Name, last name, gender, and prefix were collected to correctly identify the personal information of users, and primary care units will be able to check the list of Aorsormor in their care.
3. Phone numbers were collected for registration purposes only. The application will collect phone numbers for users’ data.
4. Email is optional for this application.

• Affiliated hospital, including hospital name, subdistrict, district, province, and postcode, was collected to specify where the users work for. Moreover, the data recorded by users will be sent to the medical personnel who affiliate those hospitals.
• For verification before accessing all of function, the ID behind users’ citizen ID card was input only to verify your identity with the Ministry of Interior database. We did not collect these data, and they were disposed at the end of the process.
• Smart อสม. can be accessed to record the COVID-19 antigen test kit result of people in users’ care, including citizen ID, name, last name, prefix, and result. All collected data are similar to self-test or antigen test site without application.
• This application has a location request so that the user's location can be determined. In which the app has a location call in case the users use some menus, such as recording monthly report. The application is not asking for location access all the time.

Sharing data

• The data collected were shared with the health care personnel for public health purposes. Also The data will not be shared for commercial purposes without your permission.
• The data collected were to help medical personnel assess the record from Aorsormor to promote the health of the people in their care.
